Ios, one of the most beautiful islands in the Cyclades.

Ios leaves the impression of one of the most beautiful islands in the Cyclades. The pretty little chapel of St Irene greets you at the entrance to the harbor of Chora. Chora is a beautiful picturesque city with white-washed houses ascending up the hill.

During daytime you can enjoy swimming in fantastic beaches like the famous Mylopotas, Manganari and Ayia Theodoti.

During the evening, the visitor has the chance to stroll around Chora, with its narrow alleys, white houses, windmills and tiny chapels and then have dinner either along the harbor or in a cozy restaurant of the town. At night, Ios is transformed into a cosmopolitan party center with countless bars, clubs and cafeterias.

Besides all that, Ios has also a great history. The island is connected with the famous ancient poet Homer. It is said that he was buried there and there is tomb of Homer on the island.
